About the trail

491 is a technical downhill ride at Wainuiomata Trail Park that stands up to wet conditions. Challenge yourself with multiple drop-offs, navigate tree roots and watch out for ruts on your way down. Use this as an alternative route to Spoonhill when conditions are wet.

The trail is primarily for bikers. Walking is not permitted.
